Sanjeev Gupta

Biography

 Mr Sanjeev Gupta Son of Mr. B. P. Gupta, was born on 8th October, 1967 in the city of Bharatpur (Rajasthan). He is a man with natural ambition. He had a simple dream of attaining the heights, and set out early in search of the right opportunity. In mid-90's, he took up an exploratory tour of CIS countries to assess the potential for the export of Indian products. What he found was quite encouraging, the young CIS countries, with their growing economy, offered immense potential for Indian companies. He started with export of garments to Ukraine, which later turned into pharmaceuticals.  

Research Interest

 Sanjeev is a commerce graduate from Delhi University. He has over 15 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry. A technocrat and successful industrialist, he is largely responsible for the overall functioning of the Company and has played a critical role in making the Company a leader in the Ukraine Pharma industry. Initially, Kusum Pharmaceuticals only exported third party products from reputed pharmaceutical formulation manufacturers. With the development in local regulations in target countries like Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan etc., a need was felt to grow up the value chain. Its first manufacturing facility at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, was commissioned in September 2007. He is aiming to expand KHPL in Domestic as well as in International Market
