Biography
Akhilesh Narayan Pujar, did his post graduation in Bio-Medical Genetics, followed by a post graduate diploma in genetic counseling. He is a level 1 Genetic Counselor under the Board of Genetic Counseling India. In the past he has been associated with the Institute of Genetics and Hospital for Genetic Diseases and Kamineni Hospital in Hyderabad, and Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology in Trivandrum. Akhilesh has co-authored a paper titled "Glutathione -S- Transferase polymorphism and antioxidant levels in OSMF, leukoplakia and oral cancer" in International Dental Journal, and "Pedigree and BRCA gene analysis in breast cancer patients to identify HBOCs to prevent morbidity and mortality of disease in Indian population" in Tumor Biology.
