Biography
Akshay Badakere completed his basic medical education from Adichunchanagiri Institute of medical sciences Bellur, Karnataka, followed by a post graduation in Ophthalmology from Minto Ophthalmic Institute, Bangalore. He then pursued a Fellowship in Comprehensive Ophthalmology from LVPEI, Hyderabad and received subspecialty training in pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus and neuro ophthalmology. He also was honoured as the chief fellow during his fellowship training. His past work experience includes working as junior consultant at M C Modi Eye Hospital Bangalore. Akshay has made several paper and poster presentations and has also delivered talks at various forums. His areas of interest include strabismus and neuro ophthalmology.
