Biography
Aparna Rao completed her basic medical education from Maharashtra, followed by a diploma in ophthalmology from Guru Nanak Eye Centre, Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi and a MD (DNB) from ICARE Eye Hospital and Glaucoma Research Institute, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. She further did a postdoctoral research fellowship in glaucoma at the Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi; where she also worked as research associate (ICMR, Delhi) for a couple of years.
Research Interest
Aparna Rao areas of interest are research on angle closure glaucoma, congenital glaucoma, pseudoexfoliation and stem cells.
