Biography
Ganesh Babu did his Bachelor’s in Optometry from LVPEI’s Bausch & Lomb School of Optometry, affiliated to the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani. He has been working at LVPEI’s VST Centre for Glaucoma Care as a Senior Optometrist since 2004. His current research involves optic nerve head parameters and their relevance in glaucoma diagnosis. He is actively involved in the teaching of optometry fellows, interns and optometry students. Away from his long hours of work and study, Ganesh finds enjoyment in nurturing his childhood hobby of designing and repairing small toys, electronic instruments and gadgets. He is currently pursuing an integrated PhD from the School of Optometry & Vision Science, University of New South Wales, Sydney, with support from Vision CRC, Australia.
