Jay Chhablani

Biography

Jay Chhablani completed his clinical vitreo-retina fellowship from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. Before joining LVPEI as a faculty in 2012, he was an International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO) fellow at Jules Gonin Eye Hospital, Switzerland, and later was associated as a Clinical Instructor with the Jacobs Retina Center at Shiley Eye Center, University of California, San Diego, USA. His areas of interest are macular disorders and recent imaging techniques. He has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals with specific emphasis in field of choroid. He is on the reviewing boards of all high impact ophthalmology journals. Dr Chhablani is on the editorial board of Indian Journal of Ophthalmology, PLOS One, BMC Ophthalmology and Clinical Ophthalmology. He is member of Global ONE network committee of American Academy of Ophthalmology. Jay has to his credit several reputed national and international awards, and also has the honour of delivering the inaugural Ian Constable Lecture at the Asia-Pacific Vitreo-Retina Society meet on his work on intravitreal ziv-aflibercept therapy.
