Biography
Merle Fernandes completed her under- and post-graduate training at Goa Medical College, Goa and did a fellowship in Cornea and Anterior Segment at LV Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), Hyderabad in 2001. She completed a post doctoral fellowship in Ocular Surface Immunology, under the mentorship of Professor Reza Dana at Schepens Eye Research Institute, Harvard Medical School, Boston in 2015.
Research Interest
Merle Fernandes main foci of interests are corneal transplantation in children, ocular surface disorders and management of infectious diseases of the cornea
