Biography
Vinay Kumar pursued his Bachelor’s in Optometry from LVPEI’s Bausch & Lomb School of Optometry, affiliated to the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani. Following which in 2012 he joined LVPEI’s Visual Optics lab as a Research Optometrist and as Consultant Optometrist, Cornea and Anterior Segment Services. His current research project involves analyzing impact of degraded optics on binocular visual performance in subjects with irregular corneal conditions like keratoconus. His research interests lie in Visual Optics and Psychophysics, Cornea and Refractive Errors, Binocular Vision and Myopia. He has a publication to his credit in the Nature Scientific Reports on Photorefraction. In addition he has also made scientific presentations at national and international conferences.
