Biography
Dr. Subhabrata Chakrabarti, Associate Director of Research at LVPEI, is a genome biologist trained largely in India and to some extent at the National Eye Institute at NIH, USA. His research on the functional genomics of glaucoma and AMD are pioneering in the field that have provided some molecular insights into the disease pathogenesis.
