Biography
Dr Vivek Dave completed his basic medical degree from Seth G.S. Medical College, Mumbai and went on to complete his MD (Ophthalmology) from AIIMS , New Delhi. He comes with a rich experience having worked as consultant in the areas of Vitreo Retina, Glaucoma and Uvea starting with Jeevandeep Surgical Hospital, Vapi, Gujarat to Netra Mandir Eye Institute, Mumbai. He has also been a fellow of Vitreo retinal services at L V Prasad Eye Institute and Senior Registrar, Glaucoma Services, AIIMS. He has also participated in numerous cataract screening reach-in camps organized by the Department of Community Ophthalmology, AIIMS. He has been the recipient of over 8 awards and honors; notable among them being the “Best Junior Resident Award” for the year 2006-07. He also has to his credit, 26 indexed publications, 21 poster presentations, 15 paper presentations and 7 video presentations, both at the national and international level.
