Biography
Ph.D. in Plant Biotechnology from the University of Mysore. Started career as a scientist with Indo American Hybrid Seeds, a premier Plant Biotech Company of India in the field of Plant Cell and Molecular Biology directly applicable to Plant Tissue Culture. Have published about 25 research articles and has guided about 16 post graduates in their research projects. Joined Labland Biotech during the inception of the project in 1994 and currently is the Managing Director. Plays a key role in knowledge management & communication and is responsible for initiating and leading the Production/R & D team for strategic research and implementation of the activities. Member of academic advisory committee to the Department of Biotechnology, University of Gulbarga and the member of research advisory committee, Karnataka State Women’s University, Bijapur; and Reasearch Advisory Board of Mount Carmel College, Bangalore.
