Biography
Devarayapuram Ramasamy Kaarthikeyan serves as Non-Executive Independent Director of Lotus Eye Hospital and Institute Limited. He is an IPS officer. He has served the Country as DIG (Railways), Director General (CRPF), Director of Trade Promotion in Australia, Diplomat and head of Chancery and Consular Division of the Embassy of India in Moscow, Director (CBI), and Director General in National Human Rights Commission. He has authored many books viz.”Human Rights- Problems and Solutions”,”Pathways out of Terrorism and Insurgency: the dynamics of Political Violence and Peace Process in contemporary Societies”. Presently he is associated with various Indian and International organisations both at institutional and Government level such as Law, Human Rights, Corporate affairs.
