Biography
His areas of specialization are : Political Sociology, Family Studies, Sociology of Youth, Environment and Society, Women studies. He was Dy.Coordinator of the DSA Programme. He organized Environmental Awareness Programmes, and was Seminar Coordinator in five National Seminars. His publications include Social Class and Family Life in India, Entrepreneurship: Reflections and Investigations (ed.); Modernity, Feminism and Women Empowerment (ed.) and a text book on Social Research and Statistics. He has been the head of the Department (2007-2010) He has been one of the editors of hindi journal, Manav. He visited Thailand for an academic purpose.
