Biography
Areas of interest: Sociology, Reproductive and Child Health, Family Planning, Sexuality, Women Empowerment, Education and Socio-Economic and Demographic issues, Simultaneously, Field Work, Data Collection, Social & Marketing Survey etc. Publications: 12 research papers in National and International Journals and two chapters in two books and one book as a coeditor. Life member of Indian Sociological Study, EFCS and Guest Member in International Journal for Sociology and Social Policy (Emerald, UK), ARNEC, Singapore. Eight students completed their Ph.D. under his supervision. He is NSS programme officer , Lucknow University. He has been associated with RCH, NFHS and other major projects at IIPS, Mumbai. He has also been associated with WHO, UNICEF, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi.
