Biography
Dr. Tarnekar did MBBS from Pt. J.N.M. Govt. Medical College under Ravishankar University Raipur in 1990 and passed MS (Anatomy) under Nagpur University from MGIMS Sevagram in 2002. Since then he has been consistently serving MGIMS as a faculty of Anatomy at various capacities. He is approved UG/ PG teacher and an approved PG guide in MUHS Nashik. He is also in the panel of examiners of various other universities. He is life member of Anatomical Society of India (ASI) and All India Congress of Cytology and Genetics (AICCG). He has so far 19 scientific publications in his credit and 7 scientific presentations in National conferences of Anatomy & Genetics. He has so far guided many PG dissertations of which 3 are completed, 1 recently submitted and 2 more in progress. He is a faculty in institutional Medical Education unit and member of Animal Ethics committee, PG advisory committee, IQAC- team for NAAC, PCPNDT coordination team, Cultural committee of student's council and has assisted in conduction of MUHS theory exam and assessment programmes of MUHS in various capacities. He was joint secretary of CME on Anthropometry held in Nov 2011 at MGIMS. He is presently Associate Professor of Anatomy. Dr. Tarnekar did MBBS from Pt. J.N.M. Govt.
