Am Mehendale

Biography

Ashok M Mehendale heads the department of Community Medicine at MGIMS. He obtained MBBS (1982) and MD in Community Medicine (1984) from MGIMS. He also obtained his MPH (1996) from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA. He received UNFPA Fellowship under the Executive Program for Developing Countries in the year 1995-96. He is a life member of Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (IAPSM), Indian Public Health Association (IPHA) and Indian Association of Epidemiologists (IPE) and a founder member of Breast Feeding Promotion Network of India.
