Biography
Dr Amrish Saxena graduated from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal in 1998. He completed his MD (Medicine) from Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior in 2003. Soon after doing a senior residency in the department of hematology at SGPGIMS, Lucknow, he joined MGIMS as an assistant professor in Medicine in 2005. He underwent dialysis training in the department of nephrology at Care Hospital, Nampally, Hyderabad in 2010 and is looking after the haemodialysis unit in the department of Medicine. He is actively involved in the departmental research activities and has served as a mentor to the undergraduate students for ICMR short term studentship (STS) projects.
