Biography

Dr Jyoti Jain, MD (Med)is Professor and Head of Department of Medicine. Graduated from Gandhi Medical College Bhopal and obtained MD from Gajraraja Medical College (GRMC) Gwalior in 1999 and joined MGIMS as a lecturer in Medicine in 1999. She has also obtained Post graduate diploma in geriatric medicine from Indira Gandhi National Open University in 2013 and has persued Certificate course in evidance based Diabetes Management In February 2016. At MGIMS, Dr Jyoti cares for medical outpatients and inpatients and is also involved with undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. She has special interest in gastroenterology and performs gastrointestinal endoscopies. Keenly interested in medical research, Dr Jyoti has published in several national and international journals. She is also a member of the Students’ Council and the Officer In-charge of the MGIMS students’ literary section.
