Poonam Verma Shivkumar

Biography

Dr Poonam V. Shivkumar is an MGIMS alumnus: she obtained MBBS (1986) and MD (1990) from MGIMS. During her residency in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, she was Dr Chhabra’s mentee. She did a postgraduate diploma in sexually and reproductive medicine from Uppsala University, Sweden (2000) and also did a course on Educational Science for health professionals at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry.
