Pradeep Dhande

Biography

Dr Pradeep Dhande is professor in the department of Anaesthesiology at MGIMS since 2003 and till recently had led the department too. He is an alumnus of Government Medical College Nagpur (class of 1975) and obtained his MD from his alma mater. He has been trained in neurosurgery at Sheffield and Rotherham hospital, UK. He has also undergone training in providing anaesthesia for cancer patients at Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai. he guided the department to acquire recognition from the MCI for conducting post graduate courses in anaesthesiology in 2004. He also worked hard with his faculty, residents and technicians to upgrade the department with modern instruments and gadgets for providing safe anaesthesia to patients undergoing surgery.
