Pramod Kumar

Biography

Dr Pramod Kumar joined MGIMS as assistant Professor in 2008. He holds MBBS (1998) and MD (2003) from Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi. He has worked as medical officer at Mac-lushkiganj, Ranchi Jharkhand and as a senior resident in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. He is one of the master trainers for Emergency Obstetrics Care (EmOC) project, Basic Emergency Obstetric Care Training (BEmOC) and skilled attendance at Birth (SAB) and assessor of EmOC site and EmOC examiner. He has published seven papers, attended national and international conferences. His areas of interest include high-management of risk pregnancy, Gynaecological endoscopy surgery and Gynaecological Oncology. Dr Pramod Kumar joined MGIMS as assistant Professor in 2008.
