Sonia Jain

Biography

Dr Sonia Jain is a Professor of Dermatology. She graduated from Baroda Medical College, Gujarat and obtained MD in 2000 under the able guidance of Dr YS Marfatia. A co-author in the Textbook on Family Medicine, Dr Sonia has published in several national and international journals and has also presented her work in national conferences. She is involved in many research projects in collaboration with other departments and has received awards for her research presentations. A faculty in the MGIMS Medical Education Unit, she is also a member of the Students’ Council and the Officer In-charge of the MGIMS students’ magazine- Sushruta. Primarily interested in in vitiligo, psoriasis and cosmetology, she also performs laser surgery and punch grafting in patients with vitiligo. Dr Sonia Jain is a Professor of Dermatology.
