Sumit Kar

Biography

He is university recognised Professor and Head with more than 18 years of teaching experience in reputed medical colleges of India. He is recognized post-graduate teacher and guides post-graduate students. He was instrumental in developing the department from a unit of Medicine department to a full fledged independent department and getting post-graduation started. He has got publications as well as is a reviewer in national and international Journals. He has attended, presented papers, participated in quiz, Chaired sessions and won prizes at various state level, zonal and national conferences. He is presently an Executive Member, Past Vice President of Vidarbha Dermatological Society. He has also been a Executive Member of Maharashtra Branch of IADVL. He is member of staff selection committee, member of post-graduation inspection team and flying squad of MUHS. He has attended and conducted sessions related to dermatology and micro teaching. He is the principal investigator of a Project of Sexually Transmitted Infection under MSACS (NACO).
