He has done his graduation and specialization at Ege University, Turkey; He has completed his Post doctoral fellowship from Yale University Medical School. Dr Alp Gurkan has successfully completed more than 1700 kidney transplantations until now. He is the Adjunct professor and head of the department of surgery in Istanbul Aydin University and the director of organ transplantation centre Medicana Hospital.
