Biography
Dr. Tamilarasan Senthil has set up a viable Ophthalmology model in India through his entrepreneurial skills. Through his centers, over 10,000 patients are screened every month. Dr Senthil completed his MBBS and Ophthalmology Residency from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute in Chennai. For the last decade, Dr. Senthil has been founding trustee of Pranav Foundation, a national NGO, which works in eradication of preventable Blindness. Dr Senthil is recipient of the Humanitarian Volunteer of the Year Award at Stanford University in 2014, and also received the Gold Medal for excellence in Ophthalmology from Tamilnadu Governor in 2015. He is a member of various national and International societies in Ophthalmology.
