Ankit Baweja

Biography

Ankit is an actuarial associate working with Milliman’s life insurance consulting practice in India and is based in New Delhi. He joined the firm in 2014.Ankit has more than four years of actuarial consulting experience, during which he has supported clients in India and the Asia Pacific region. At Milliman, he has worked on a large number of model validation projects for life insurance companies. These include embedded value and statutory reserve reviewed for clients based in India and Sri Lanka. Most recently, Ankit was also part of the team that supported ICICI Prudential in its initial public offering (IPO), which was the first insurance IPO in India. He has worked on a number of M&A projects by deriving the embedded value, structural value, and appraisal value of life insurance companies. Some of Ankit’s other projects include product pricing for a local insurance company and market/industry benchmarking. He is an experienced modeler on a variety of actuarial platforms, including Prophet and MS Excel (including VBA). Prior to Milliman, Ankit worked with Mercer India for more than two years, where he provided benefits consulting support for clients based in the United States and Canada. Ankit also interned at Metlife India.
