Leena Chakma Laloo

Biography

Leena is a senior healthcare consultant with the New Delhi office of Milliman. She joined the firm in 2007.Leena is a medical doctor with 15 years of experience in clinical practice and clinical tool development. She has advised clients in a variety of areas, including claims management, clinical data analytics, and evidence-based clinical tools. Currently, she coordinates the development of the MedInsight Health Waste Calculator tool. Leena has been involved in various consulting assignments involving clients from India, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, and the United States in the field of claims audits and clinical data analytics. She has been involved in developing clinical groupers such as the Chronic Condition Hierarchical Grouper (CCHG) and the Pediatric CCHG as well as other evidence-based clinical content. Prior to joining Milliman, she gained eight years of multi-specialty clinical experience as a resident doctor in CCU, anesthesia, ICU, trauma, and pediatrics.
