Mallikarjun (mallik) Sundaram

Biography

Passionate about improving cancer treatment, Mitra originally came to life in Mallik’s 800-square foot apartment in Chennai India. The kitchen was the histopathology lab, one bedroom became the cancer biology lab, and the other bedroom became the boardroom. As the company grew, Mitra eventually moved its headquarters to Bengaluru, India, and then to Woburn, MA, while maintaining its research and clinical operations in India.
