Biography
Dr. Tayur is the Ford Distinguished Research Chair and Professor of Operations Management at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business, and is the founder and CEO of OrganJet Corporation. He was previously the founder of the software company SmartOps Corporation and served as its CEO for 12 years (acquired by SAP AG). He has been elected to the National Academy of Engineering, as a Fellow of INFORMS and as a Distinguished Fellow of MSOM.
