Krishan Kumar Bansal

Biography

KK Bansal is a Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon, specialising in brain tumours, aneurysms, arteriovenous malformation (AVM) and spinal tumours. He has an MS in General Surgery and an MCh in Neurosurgery as his main surgical qualifications, and has been in professional practice since 2000. In addition, he has completed various training programmes and fellowships connected to neurosurgery, both in India and overseas. This includes a specialised course at Nagoya University Hospital in Japan as a Sugita scholar in the department of neurosurgery, where he worked in the brain tumour lab and learned techniques of glioma cells culture and the effect of drugs on their growth. Presently, he is associated with the Narayana Multispeciality Hospital in Jaipur. He is in charge of neurosurgery and performs around 25 operations every month, including trauma cases, cranio-spinal tumours, spinal degenerative diseases, epilepsy and vascular surgery.
