Biography
Dr. Kapil Kumawat is a Senior Consultant - Cardiology in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology at Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Bommasandra, Bangalore. Dr. Kumawat did his postgraduate medical studies at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) - he holds an MD in Medicine and a DM in Cardiology from this institution. He also completed a Fellowship in Cardiac Rhythm Management from Monash Heart, Melbourne, Australia. He is also extensively experienced in cardiac rhythm management and heart failure management using interventional Electrophysiology and devices such as Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator (ICD) and Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy (CRT). Dr. Kumawat has also done specialty in Coronary interventions, including complex coronary angioplasties. He also deals with the devices for structural heart diseases like ASD and PDA.
