Biography
Amit Kumar is an Assistant Professor of Commerce at NMIMS Institute. He has a total of 11.5 years’ experience with 9.5 years of experience in industry with leading corporations like Bharti Airtel Pvt. Ltd, Asian Paints Ltd. and Tata Teleservices Ltd. I have also been a visiting faculty in marketing with DurgaDevi Saraf Institute of Management, Mumbai. He is Pursuing Ph.D. from NMIMS, Mumbai, Won Best paper award at IIM Ahmedabad on 8-9 April, 2017 for the paper “Determining Sportsperson’s affinity for brand sponsorships: An Analytics approach”, Won the First prize award on 14th -15th April, 2017 for the paper “Impact of Customer Knowledge Management on Customer Value and Purchase Intention in Ecommerce”. He Successfully completed a FDP on ‘ Inductive Research Methods’ conducted by Dr. Sarosh Kuruvilla and Dr. Ariel Avgar from Cornell University, USA between 5th Dec – 9th Dec, 2016 at School of Business Management, Mumbai Campus, NMIMS University, and conducted successfully many workshops. He received award from CEO for leading highest growth in Post-paid usage and revenue at B&J Circle, Bharti Airtel Ltd. His research interests are Marketing, Strategy and Entrepreneurship.
