Biography
Dr.Bhattacharya Has a Ph.d in Economics, besides Masters in Physics, Electronics, Masters in History & MS in Finance from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow,UK. He has been in the IAS and he served the Government, for decades, in a wide range of responsibilities as District Magistrates of Districts of Visakhapatnam and Mahabubnagar, dealing extensively with education from school to higher educational levels. He has spurred development in the areas of Irrigation, Industry, Entrepreneurship,Training in Management in his capacities as Secretary/Commissioner, Government of Andhra Pradesh. In the new millennium, recently he has written 2 books in the area of Business namely ‘’Globalization and a Shrunken World’’ published in 2009 and ‘’Poverty Of Nations’’ published in 2014. He has published many articles in National & International Journal besides presenting paper at various Universities. He coordinate the Colloquium at the Journal of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad, Gujarat in 2016, which contains contributions by seven
