Biography
Dr. Harish Shashikant Kundaikar has 4.1 years of experience in both industry and academically. He has worked as Production Chemist with experience in large-scale Pharma Manufacturing in Tablet Production. Alongside he also has experience in Tablet Packing, and Liquid Manufacturing and Packing. He has about 3 years of academic experience and has been approved as Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Chemistry by University of Mumbai and Assistant Professor (Ad Hoc) by SNDT University. He has been involved in teaching the subjects of Pharmaceutical/Medicinal/Organic/Inorganic Chemistry and has a Best Teacher Award to his credit during this teaching career. His research experience stems from his work in design, synthesis and evaluation of NCEs as therapeutics for Alzheimer’s disease and antifungal targets, and association with DAE-BRNS project on 18F fluorinated PET radioligands as diagnostics for Alzheimer’s disease. He has also been involved in several other studies targeting HIV, Epilepsy and Cancer, as well as insilico studies on β-cyclodextrins and polymers used in formulations. He has authored 9 publications.
