Biography
Prof. Harsh Vardhan is a senior industry professional with over 35 years of experience in driving business growth for leading organizations in strategic and CXO roles. He has worked with leading companies like HCL, ITC, JWT, O&M, McCann and a few other global firms in marketing, advertising, sales, brands and business strategy. He also launched three startups. He was instrumental in launching some of the best known brands like General Motors, Bacardi, Columbia Tri-Star, Danone, L’Oreal, Iridium, and Exxon, Moov and Symphony. As a marketing specialist he turned around brands like Chiclets, Listerine and Dettol. He was also very closely involved with setting up the global NRI marketing for ICICI Bank. He has been a strategy consultant advising companies like Ramoji Film City, L’Oreal (Malaysia), Tanishq, and several apparel brands on improving their competitiveness. He has done significant work in implementing strategic frameworks like Blue Ocean, Porter’s Industry Analyses and Value Innovation and reinventing brands in digital environment. He has lectured in various business schools including IIM. Prof. Harsh vardhan consults in the areas of Strategy and Marketing, he is also a pioneer in improving organisational competitiveness.
