Biography
Dr. Sarika Wairkarhas 12 years of experience in both industry and academically. She has six and half years of rich experience of R & D in the field of formulation development and quality assurance. She has worked in ‘Formulation Development’ of solid dosage form including Immediate release tablets/ capsules, Extended release tablets/capsules, Controlled release tablets, Effervescent tablets for regulatory markets and successfully completed technology transfer of the developed products at production. She has expertise in Trouble shooting of existing formulation at production plant as well as development report preparation and Technology transfer documents review for Regulatory market, primarily in Nasal sprays, Injections, pMDI’s, Oral liquid/ solid dosage forms. She has guided 15 M.Pharm. students for their major research projects and 15 M.Pharm. students for their minor research projects. She has authored 7 publiactions and has 1 patent. Her research interests are Nasal drug delivery, Nanotechnology, Particle Engineering of drugs
