Biography
Dr. Saritha Rakesh Shetty has 12 years of experience. She served as Scientist in Analytical R&D at Syngene Intl. Pvt. Ltd. (A Biocon Group), Bangalore. Completed projects of major client like Baxter ACC – (Baxter Anesthesia Critical Care, New Jersey, USA) for analytical method development and validation using HPLC and GC as per ICH guidelines (Handled Baxter projects). Currently, being an academician she is into teaching of both UG and PG students. She has held responsibilities like In-charge of Examination committee, Student Grievance committee, Blackboard Committee and Sports committee. Currently she serves as In-charge of Discipline committee.She served as Member of Board of Studies, SPPSPTM in the 2012-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16.She hosted SVKM’s NMIMS Convocation 2014 and 2015 for SPPSPTM, DST Inspire Internship Science Camp – 2014, National Conference (NCNDDR) - 2015 and Artificial Intelligence International Conference - 2016. She hosted SVKM’s NMIMS Convocation 2014 and 2015 for SPPSPTM, DST Inspire Internship Science Camp – 2014, National Conference (NCNDDR) - 2015 and Artificial Intelligence International Conference - 2016.She was invited as a guest speaker at Sandoz Pvt. Ltd., Sandoz Knowledge Centre, C.U. Shah College of Pharmacy, SVKM's Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy, MET College of Pharmacy to name few. Her research interests are Formulation development: Transdermal Drug delivery systems, Topical drug delivery systems, Polymer nanotechnology, Oral and Mucoadhesive drug delivery systems, Herbal Research and Cosmetic Technology, Analytical Method Development and Validation.
