Biography
Dr. D. Thammi Raju served as Veterinary Assistant Surgeon for 5 years and then joined Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University as Assistant Professor in Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension, College of Veterinary Science, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. Before joining NAARM as Principal Scientist, he served as Associate Professor and Professor & University Head of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension Education at Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Tirupati. In all he had 24 years of experience in Animal Husbandry Sector and National Agricultural Research System. He was trained at the School of Agriculture, Policy and Development, University of Reading, UK and the Borlaug Institute of International Agriculture, Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, USA. He guided 13 Ph.D. / M.V.Sc. students. He had more than 70 publications to his credit.
