Biography
Dr P. Venkatesan started his career at Krishi Vigyan Kendra of Ganghigram Rural Institute. He was selected as Senior Scientist in Extension Systems Management Division at NAARM in 2014. He has more than 45 publications to his credit. He was an Indian Air force benevolent Scholarship holder, from Indian Air force (1990-1994) for under graduation, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, JRF Scholarship holder for Post-graduation (1995-1997) from ICAR, had been a Team member of best group at 4th Common Wealth- India Small business competitiveness development programme held at Chennai, Kovalam Pondicherry, India-2006 and awarded by Common Wealth Secretariat and Ministry of SSI and ARI, Government of India. In 2014, he received Best Paper Award from Society of Extension Education, Coimbatore, in 2015, he received Best Paper Award from UGC, Gandhigram Rural Institute, Gandhigram, Dindigul and in 2016, Best Oral Presentation Award, in the International Conference on Extension Education, organized by Department of Extension, BHU, Varanas.
