Biography
Dr. S Senthil Vinayagam started his career w.e.f. 03-01-1991 as Programme Officer at Zonal Coordinating Unit, ICAR, Bangalore for nine years and Senior Scientist w.e.f. 29-12-1999 at CRRI, Cuttack & NRC for Soybean, Indore for eight years. Later he worked as Faculty Head (training) at RGNIYD, Chennai for short period during 2007 and moved to NIRD, Hyderabad w.e.f. 01-06-2007 as Professor and Project Director for four years followed by Director (Agri. Extension) at MANAGE, Hyderabad for three years on Deputation. On completion of deputation he worked as Principal Scientist (Agri. Extension) at Directorate of Sorghum Research for one year and now working at this Academy. He was deputed to South Africa, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi and Afghanistan as an expert for sharing Indian experiences on Agricultural and Rural Development.
