Research Interest

Their interest is in elucidating the mechanistic details of the pathogenesis of the mutations in genes required for tRNA biogenesis. We focus on generating cerebral organoid experimental models for neurodevelopmental disorders caused by defective tRNA biogenesis. Moreover, we also investigate how intracellular pathogens manipulate host translational machinery by altering tRNA pools.
