Biography
Vasala Madhava Rao is working as Adviser & Head, Centre for Geoinformatics Application in Rural Development in National Institute of Rural Development. Dr. Madhava rao finished his B.Tech (Elect), M.Tech (Remote Sensing), Ph.D (Engineering-Spatial IT, JNTU, Hyderabad), MBA (Symbiosis, Pune), Ph.D (Economics), PGDPM (University of Hyderabad). He has Total 36 years (NIRD&PR: 29 years and 7years in PSU, State and Central Organisations, Post Graduate Teaching). Madhava rao areas of interest in remote Sensing; GIS; GPS; Digital Image Processing applications to Land use Planning; Watershed development and Monitoring; Rural Infrastructure development; Resource planning; Large scale Mapping; LIS; Terrain Modelling and Change detection studies, Sensor, LIDAR, Open Source Application Packages.
