Biography
Dr. Mayengbam Nandakishwor Singh has graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Presidency College, Chennai. He has completed his Master of Arts from University of Hyderabad in Political Science. Subsequently, he has obtained his MPhil and PhD from University of Hyderabad. He has also done a Post Graduate Diploma Course in Human Rights (PGDHR). He has published some articles in peer reviewed journals and some of his writings have been published in popular newspapers like The China Post, The Hans India et al. He has attended workshops and research methodology courses organized under UGC and ICSSR. He is a recipient of Candeth Memorial Prize, UGC Research Fellowship in Social Sciences and Humanities for Meritorious Students (UGC-RFSMS) and UGC-JRF. He is broadly specialized in Political Philosophy/Theory, Comparative Politics and Indian Government and Politics. His major areas of research interest includes: social justice, human rights, modern ideologies, caste politics, state politics in India and North East India study. He has joined National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam as a faculty of Political Science. He is interested in yoga, music and theatre.
