Biography
Namrata Gogoi is working as Assistant Professor of History and is associated with the teaching of BA.,LL.B, Five Year Integrated Course. She did her B.A.(Hons.) History and M.A. with specialization in the Ancient Indian History from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi. She has done LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. She has qualified UGC NET-JRF in History. Her prior working experience includes an internship with the Centre for Policy Research, New Delhi. As a law student, she has worked for the MACT Pilot Project initiated by the Arrears Committee of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. Her areas of academic interest include Historical Archaeology, Pre-Historic Religion, Indian Buddhist Art, Gender History, etc.
