Biography
Suman Dash Bhattamishra did her LL.M. at National Law School of India, Bangalore with specialization in Human Rights. She graduated from University Law College, Vanivihar securing the third position in her class. Academically, Ms Suman has been a keen student of Humanities from the very beginning and has also received National Scholarship for securing a state rank in her Higher Secondary Examination. Currently, she is teaching Family Law and Criminology at NLUO. She takes immense interest in debating, mooting and creative writing and has several achievements to her merit in these fields. Her academic focus has been on issues pertaining to Human Rights, Child Rights, Labour Laws, Constitutional Law and International Criminal Law. She has also published a book under the title of “Perspectives on Human Rights: The Entirety and the Alternate”, which is a reflection of interesting debates in different zones of Human Rights. Beyond the realm of academics, Hindustani Classical Music and Light Vocals remain her deepest passion.
