Suman Tulip

Biography

Tulip completed her LL.M. from National Law University Jodhpur with specialization in Intellectual Property Rights and her B.A.LL.B. (Hons) from University Law College, Utkal University. She has participated in many National Seminars and Conferences and presented papers associated with Intellectual Property Rights, Human Rights and various subjects with socio-legal themes.Her areas of interest includes, Intellectual Property Law, Constitutional Law, Cyber Laws and Corporate Laws. Prior to joining NLUO she has worked as a guest faculty at School of Law KIIT University and University Law College, Utkal University where she taught subjects like Plant Variety and Farmer’s Rights and White Collar Crimes. She has co-authored a paper on ‘Interfaces and Synergies between Intellectual Property Rights and Consumer Protection in India: An Analysis’ which has been published at Niscair online periodicals repository. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Intellectual Property Law from NLUO. Currently she is working as the Teaching Assistant for Corporate Laws and Intellectual Property Rights law teaching the undergraduate students. She is also working as a Research Associate for Prof. Aruna Shri Lakshmi for the Global Initiative for Academic Networks project which has been introduced at NLUO. She has also worked as a Research Associate for the Community College for Paralegal Course under the supervision of the Vice Chancellor of NLUO, Dr.Sri Krishnadeva Rao.Tulip is a voracious reader, takes interest in writing and aspires to become a professional writer. She enjoys singing, painting and adventure sports.
