Research Interest
IPM module development and their field validation for different crops like oilseed crops- mustard, groundnut, castor, linseed, safflower, sunflower, soybean, sesame and other miscellaneous crops like cauliflower, sorghum etc. in different agro-ecological zones. Databases of plant protection recommendations for field crops, fruit crops, vegetable, spices, medicinal crops, database of sources of critical IPM inputs producing units in the country, published research papers in referred research journals (29), papers in conferences/ proceedings/symposium/ seminars 71; Books 8; technical bulletins 6; popular articles 10; book chapters 6; training manuals 10, Video film -1, TV (DD-1 talks-1), IPM extension folders/leaf lets 11, conducted National Level Training Programme on “Mass Production of Bio-control Agents” – 10 trainings, International exposure - twice (Indonesia and USA), I invented innovative IPM technologies (Patents filed in India- 12), (International Patent PCT filed -1), (Patents Awarded-2), (IPM technologies commercialized against IPR money and royalty -6), I participated in the preparation of IPM road maps/IPM visions/Brain storming sessions, five year plans, IPM databases, technical progs., GAP (Good Agricultural practices), inter-institutional projects on IPM, IPR guidelines related to IPM inputs for ICAR, trainings to the entrepreneurs related to IPM technologies etc.
