Biography
A brief bio-data about yourself: Dr. Narottam Bal is a Teaching Assistant in Sociology. Dr. Bal has done his Mhil and Ph.D. from Dr. Babasaheb National Institute of Social Sciences, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Before Joining NUSRL, Ranchi, he taught at various government colleges at Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. He got ICSSR fellowship for Ph.D. programme. He participated various training programmes like Research Methodology, Women’s Rights and Computer application in Social Sciences, which was organised by ICSSR and UGC. He was principal at Jayadev Institute of Social Sciences and Research, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. His research Papers are published in various referred, peer review journals and edited books.

Sociology of Gender, Sociology of Law and Sociology of Crime and deviance.
