Biography
Dr. Ramanujam holds a PhD in Physics from the National Chemical Laboratory/ Pune University His thesis was titled “Structure, Properties and Applications of Conducting Graphite- Thermoplastic Composites.” He did his Masters in Technology (Material Science) from IIT, Kanpur. His thesis was titled “Wrong size effect in NaCl-LiCl mixed crystals”. He did his MSc [Physics] from A.M.Jain College/Madras University. His thesis title: “A fresh study of potential energy functions for diatomic molecules. Joined Navrachana University in June 2012 as an Assistant Professor and has been an integral part of the academic team ever since.
Research Interest
Dr. Ramanujam’s research interest revolves around understanding structure-property correlations in conducting polymer composites/nanocomposites finding applicationsin proton exchange membrane fuel cells, Electromagnetic interference shielding devices.He has been visiting scholar in the college of dentistry, Ohio State University in May 2015 for couple of months. He has also been awarded Visiting Scientist Fellowship from Indian National Science Academy (INSA) from 15th June 2016 to 14th August 2016.
