K. S. Kumar
Assistant Professor
School of Engineering and Technology
Navrachana University
India
Biography
Dr. Kumar did his PhD from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. His thesis is titled “Pre-concentration and Quantitative Determination of Pharma Compounds Present in Water” He did his Masters in Science from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela and his Bachelors in Science from Utkal University, Odisha. He joined Navrachana University in June 2009.
Research Interest
Kumar’s research interests are in analytical and environmental chemistry, with a special focus on waste water treatment and its analysis. He is particularly interested in analysis of trace organic molecules present in water, and how simple chemical techniques can be used to identify and quantify analytes at low concentration, so that methods can be cost effective.
